Can I tell you quickly lang about the scariest money lesson I've ever learned? I experienced earlier this year kasi naka-experience ako ng severe chest pain and difficulty breathing. Akala ko it was a mini heart attack. So I rushed to the hospital and I was already thinking about the worst. Oh my god, after the consultation, yung mga ECG, laboratory tests, and everything else, sinabi ng doc na hindi heart attack, it was GERD. And don't get me wrong, I was relieved, sinabi, but then reality also hit me. I realized na hindi kailangang maging critically ill for medical expenses to drain my savings. Time... kasi at that time, wala pa akong emergency fund. So my finances really took a hit. I realized din what if mas seryoso pala yung naging case ko, diba? Naku, patay na.
