Today's budget is Today's budget is Okay, we can work with that. Honestly, I was just grateful that the number was big enough to to and from work because I did not want to walk for over an hour. But that still only leaves me with $13 for food for the entire day. And without groceries, that's pretty tight in New York City. For breakfast, I tried two things from Dunkin that I have never had before. This chai latte as well as this ham and Swiss croissant roller. I honestly a big fan of the chai latte. I have no idea what it is, but I liked it a lot. The order came out to $10.32, but I used Paze and I took advantage of the $10 cash back. I followed that performance up with a 9:00 AM Diet Coke before heading out to a halal cart for lunch. It's been a while since I've been to this guy, but I couldn't afford Chipotle, so this was a good substitute. Of course, I got this thing absolutely covered in white sauce and obviously I paired it with a crispy. It might be a questionable office lunch, but I'm not sure there's really any better value out there than all this for $10. I got a little hungry and thirsty at the end of the day, so I cracked open one more Diet Coke and I had this Nashville hot chicken chomp. Pretty good and I didn't expect it to be and it was enough to hold me over until dinner. I spent $3 heading back downtown to my apartment before heading out to pick up my feast. There's a game in the Chick-fil-A app and as long as you don't do well, they will give you free medium fries. But I also had a free large fry from my local operator that expired today, so I used that instead.
