Challenging myself to a random budget. Five bucks. I was really hoping for a bigger number today and I had no idea what I was gonna do, but that's okay cause it makes this challenge fun. My first meal of the day was coming from Chick-fil-A. If you haven't had their breakfast before, it will change your life. This alone cost more than $5. But if you have the Chick-fil-A app in New York, you got this for free yesterday. I'm not gonna lie, this is probably the thinnest fillet of chicken I've ever had. But that's okay cause it was free and it still tasted so good. For lunch I desperately wanted my six dollar pizza special so I could get a Diet Coke, but I didn't have the budget for it. Instead I headed to a bagel shop and had to look at all the salmon and cream cheese that I couldn't afford. And instead I got one of New York's cheapest delicacies, a buttered bagel. I'm pretty sure there was more butter than bagel here, which is a little unfortunate cause this was more than half my budget at $3.22. I'm not gonna complain though, it was still tasty. And if you couldn't tell just by looking at me, I'm the type of guy that loves some butter. Up and down the five flights of stairs I go and head to my local deli. If you're keeping track, I only had a dollar and seventy eight cents left for dinner, which meant I had to get creative. I got the Scooby-Doo wrap, which comes with bacon, chicken, mayo, and pepper jack cheese. Structural integrity isn't really there. Also got some veggies in with the tomato and lettuce. At full price this wrap would have cost $11.90, but it only cost me a dollar and ninety cents because I paid through Amex and Grubhub and use my ten dollar monthly credit. I'm not gonna complain though, it was still tasty.
