THINGS I'VE DONE AS AN INDEPENDENT WOMAN bought a house by myself Paid for everything by myself, saved the entire down payment amount and went to my closing alone I work a six figure job Built my career post grad and have no student loans. I job hopped and learned new skills to get to where I'm Furniture building and home maintenance I've learned how to do everything around my house, mowing, gardening, fixing smoke detectors, painting, hanging curtains, refurbishing furniture. You name it! Pay for all my bills & manage my finances I built my own budgeting spreadsheet to track my monthly expenses and see how much $$ I bring in every month. I have never been in debt or not been able to cover my bills Bought a brand new car by myself researched the vehicle I wanted, decided on the exact model and type of car and put down $10K in cash when I got my keys! Traveled to different countries I've been able to visit many different places over the years including one of my favorites, Mexico City. Planning to continue this as I grow financially
