I live in a 3 bed 2 bath house that I bought by myself and I pay for all of my home expenses on my own. Jocelyn. About transparency. How I afford a $260k house by myself and pay for all of my home expenses on my own. So first off, my mortgage is $1,771. That includes property taxes, home insurance, PMI and my principal and interest. I'm not even going to get into how expensive my interest is. The utilities for my home are fairly cheap, although they have gone up recently. But my electric bill is $120, my water bill is around $80 and the internet is $90. I also made a dumb decision about two years ago and bought a brand new car. So my car payment is $412 and my car insurance is $140. I also contribute $1,450 to my Roth IRA and my 401k every month. And in total, I spend around $5,263. My net income after taxes and deductions is around $6,636 per month. And if you're curious how I got into my career, I have videos pinned about it on my page. So I usually have a buffer of about $1,000 every month, so I can put into anything.
