Hook
Is there ever an instance where you need to literally fire someone the next day or two days or five days later? Um, you know, there's a question that I get a lot. Like, do I need to do with this right now? Outside of like issues related to like legal issues or other stuff if someone goes and crosses the line on something then you need to deal with it right away. However, outside of that, typically you have time, but there is one instance in which I feel very strongly that you need to deal with it. Say within 5, 10 business days. If you see someone's having a bad attitude And when I say bad, I mean, spreading negativity, becoming a cancer. I've seen this with employees where they get upset about something and they go start talking to everybody about everything. Everything's awful. Uh I don't like this place. I don't like the CEO, I don't like the management, I don't like this, I don't like that. You need to deal with that right away. Okay? Outside of that, most things can wait. If someone's underperforming, you can work with them, especially if they have a good attitude. You don't need to deal with that right away. There may be other places that can be successful.
