POWER BI Back 2 Basics ep 2 Upload data into a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse Today we're gonna be uploading the data we generated in Episode 1 into Microsoft Fabric versus a PBIX file New Lakehouse Name * Enter a name Location * Jenny Dev Assign to task Select a task Get data Lakehouse schemas Create Cancel and I'm just gonna name it school_data_lakehouse I'm gonna assign the task to get data because that's what we're doing and I'm gonna keep the lakehouse schemas checked so we have the ability to organize our tables into custom schemas our lakehouse was created so now I'm going to upload a file into the lakehouse and that's gonna be my Sample PBI Data that I created in episode 1 stay tuned for episode 3 where we're gonna use dataflow Gen 2 to create the lakehouse tables

Welcome back to back to back to basics. Today we're gonna be uploading the data we generated in Episode 1 into Microsoft Fabric versus a PBIX file. In my dev workspace I'm gonna click on new item and create a lakehouse in OneLake. We wanna get comfortable housing our data in Fabric versus a PBIX file. And I'm just gonna name it school_data_lakehouse. I'm gonna assign the task to get data because that's what we're doing. And I'm gonna keep the lakehouse schemas checked so we have the ability to organize our tables into custom schemas. Our lakehouse was created. So now I'm going to upload a file into the lakehouse and that's gonna be my Sample PBI Data that I created in episode 1. Stay tuned for episode 3 where we're gonna use dataflow Gen 2 to create the lakehouse tables.
