I'm back from Montreal and I have been craving this sandwich so much to the point where I was literally thinking about it the entire six hour car ride right home. So let's go get it. Let's go let's go. Sandwich secured. I was away for a week and I forgot that Toronto literally goes from like cool in the morning to 30 degrees by 2 PM. So it feels correct. Also, I feel like the sign of a good trip is that you come home loving the city that you hated when you left. The sandwich I can't stop thinking about is a hyperfixation. A hyperfixation, if you will. The potato and pickle sandwich from Linnnys. My friend Kyle put me onto it and I swear to god I can't stop thinking about it. Let's get into it. Oh, she's wet. I heard it when I said it. Get into that. It's like a fresh potato latka, pickles, some dill, and then I also got hot sauce on it. Cheers. It's just as good as I remember. I also just realized that there's cucumbers on this, which is kind of like a premature pickle, I guess. Honestly, it works really well. If you are a pickle girl, this one's gonna go so hard for you. It's like the perfect balance of like salty and savory from the latka and then the tanginess from pickles and then also the dill. 10 out of 10. Oh my god. I love the city. Good to be home.
