Rejection fueled so much of what I did in my 20s. Because I learned quickly that after every single no, the universe would always come back with a yes that was better than I could ever imagine. Not because I sat around and just hoped for my luck to turn around, but because I worked my a** off to prove the universe wrong. The stakes are completely different, bigger, scarier, and there have been so many times where I've felt like these bigger rejections are a reflection of me.
