things in college that NO ONE cares about

here's some things in college that NO ONE cares about absolutely nobody cares about #1 Popularity Number one, if you were popular in high school, no one cares anymore. You're not in high school anymore. You're in college. Nobody cares what you look like. Going to class, going to the bar, going to the gym, going out like nobody cares. Unless you're in like a professional level class where they tell you that you need to dress up. I usually go to class in like sweatpants. I mean, I go to Penn State where it's freezing cold. But like I don't usually care what I look like to go to class. Some days I'll dress up, some days I won't. I mean, nice to people walking around and basically bras. And guess what? I don't care. They can do whatever they want. Like literally nobody cares. It's perfectly acceptable to dress however you want. And that applies to everything too, like not just going to class, like people wear whatever they want everywhere. Doesn't matter. You don't have to care. The next one was one that like really took me some time to get used to like myself. #3 Being alone. Nobody cares if you are alone. Nobody cares if you're sitting in the library by yourself. Nobody cares if you're walking to class by yourself. Nobody cares if you're eating by yourself. Everybody's on different times. You and your friends, like everybody's on different times. And college is like where you learn to be independent and be on your own. Nobody cares if you're alone. Freshman year, I was so scared of it. I didn't want to do anything by myself. Well, guess what now? I enjoy doing things by myself. I don't necessarily prefer to be alone all the time, but like I enjoy my own company and I'm not embarrassed to be sitting by myself in public because guess what? Nobody cares and everybody does it. #4 Social life. Last one. Nobody cares about your social life. Trust me, like nobody is concerned about your social life. They care about their own. So if you want to go out a ton, go ahead, do it. If you don't, more power to you. You don't have to go out. And you don't have to do it to impress other people. And you shouldn't want to do that. Moral of the story is everybody is just concerned about themselves and making it through on their own. They don't care that much about every single little detail that you're doing. So don't over analyze anything you do. Don't be nervous. Just stay true to yourself. You'll be fine. Trust me. Nobody cares.
