Incredible news for Amex cardholders. 👀 Amex just added The Leading Hotels of the World as a transfer partner. The loyalty program is called Leaders Club, and Membership Rewards transfer at 4:1. Over 400 independent luxury hotels across 80+ countries. Properties that almost never touch a points program. Now they're bookable. ✅ Ritz Paris. Place Vendôme. $3,113.51 a night or 154,468 Amex points. ✅ Capella Shanghai, Jian Ye Li. All villas, 1930s shikumen architecture. $792.71 a night or 42,488 Amex points. ✅ Grace Bay Club, Turks and Caicos. $1,905 a night or 75,000 Amex points. Right around 2 cents per point at the Ritz. Better than 2.5 at Grace Bay. One thing to know before you fall in love with a specific hotel. Leading Hotels is an alliance, not a chain. Hotels join one at a time, so one property from a brand can be in it while another isn't. Capella Shanghai takes points. Capella Ubud doesn't. Look up the exact hotel you want, not the brand. The Amex Platinum has given cardholders Leaders Club Sterling status for a while now. Enrollment required. That means breakfast for two, upgrade priority at arrival, early check-in and late checkout, and a property credit at most hotels. It all applies on points stays too. I'm also watching for a transfer bonus. Amex tends to run one when a partner launches, and at 4:1 even a small bump moves the needle. Four hotel partners now instead of three. More ways to move your points, and more room to wait for the right redemption. Have you stayed at any of these? Drop a comment and let me know which one you're most excited to book. Follow for more tips to supercharge your points accumulation, elevate your travel, and let's work smarter — not harder. 🚀 #PointsAndMiles #TravelHacks #AwardTravel #Amex #LuxuryTravel
