Imagine being the richest person on earth, but you can't actually own money. You can't touch your own money. Well that might be exactly what's happening to this Satoshi Nakamoto. This is the inventor of Bitcoin, but to this day, he's managed to stay 100% anonymous, which means still governments are trying to find out exactly who this guy is. But since he's the inventor of Bitcoin, he is also one of the biggest miners on the entire blockchain. He has over 1.1 million Bitcoin, worth $114 billion. Because of the blockchain, this is all public. So we know exactly how much money he has. If you were to ever try to transact, or sell his Bitcoin, we would be able to track that too, because it's on the blockchain. So if Satoshi ever dared to try to sell Bitcoin, this would likely trigger a worldwide man hunt, where governments, intelligent agencies, and crypto analysts would be trying to track this person down. And he's probably worried about what would happen to him if they found him. Now, why do governments actually care trying to find him? Well, it's because decentralized cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are harder for the state to control, which threatens states. They can no longer control their population. Which is exactly why I buy Bitcoin, except it makes up significantly less than 5% of my total portfolio.
