The order you train in decides whether three days a week gets you toned or just gets you tired. Most women split their days wrong and wonder why nothing changes. Here is the full three day week, built so your muscles recover before you hit them again. 1. Monday — legs and glutes, 3 sets of 8. Heavy compound work first while you are freshest. 2. Tuesday — rest. This is not lazy. Your legs need to recover before you pull anything. 3. Wednesday — back and arms, 3 sets of 10. Fresh legs mean better deadlifts and rows. 4. Thursday — rest again. Recovery is where the toning actually happens. 5. Friday — shoulders, chest, and core, 3 sets of 12, then two full rest days. The spacing is the point. When heavy days sit back to back, you show up drained and progressive overload stalls. Give each muscle group room and a three day workout plan does more than a rushed five day one. This is enough volume to build lean muscle and see change without living in the gym. Unchecked Fitness spaces your heavy days across the week for you, so your workout split and gym routine already account for recovery.
