Police have been digging up more than just dirt at this year's Creamfields site. Specialist officers have uncovered large bags of e*stasy, MDMA and k*tamine tablets, along with around 204 canisters of nitrous oxide, buried around the festival grounds in Daresbury, Cheshire. The stash was discovered before the festival has even begun, as part of police searches ahead of the August Bank Holiday event, which is expected to attract up to 80,000 people. Police say some people appear to have buried drugs at the site months in advance, hoping to return and dig them up once Creamfields was underway. And in a rather brutal message, officers said anyone who buried a rucksack or holdall and wants it back is welcome to get in touch. 👀 Searches are continuing and police say they expect to find more before the festival opens on Thursday. #Creamfields #Creamfields2026 #Festival #UKNews
