Make the Batter: Whisk the plain flour, eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl until smooth. Set aside to rest while you heat the air fryer. 2. Heat Oil & Sausages: Add 2 tbsp of oil to your metal baking tin and heat it in the air fryer at 200°C for 3 minutes until sizzling hot. Carefully add the sausages to the hot tin and air fry at 200°C for 5 minutes. 3. Pour & Air Fry: Quickly pour the rested batter around the sausages into the hot tin. Close the air fryer drawer immediately! Air fry at 200°C for 10–13 minutes until the batter is deeply golden, crisp, and fully puffed. 4. Serve: Serve hot straight out of the tin with lashings of warm onion gravy! Club Tip: Do NOT open the air fryer drawer during the first 10 minutes of cooking! Opening it lets the trapped heat escape, which will stop your batter from rising properly into big crispy peaks.
