But reporting indicates the rider in the clip is her 15-year-old daughter, Arabella—not Ivanka herself. And frankly, we don’t need to make anything up because the timing is already doing plenty. Over Labor Day weekend, the national average for regular gasoline reached about $4.14–$4.15 per gallon—the highest Labor Day price on record. Diesel reached roughly $5.85, an all-time nominal record. The Iran war, disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz, tight global gasoline supplies and refinery constraints have all contributed to the spike. Meanwhile, Trump’s trade war is escalating again. Today, Canada imposed retaliatory tariffs on roughly $20 billion of U.S. goods after the U.S. imposed 50% tariffs on some Canadian exports. So when a wealthy presidential family posts dreamy vacation footage while millions of Americans are looking at grocery receipts, fuel bills and household budgets wondering WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HELL HAPPENED TO “PRICES WILL COME DOWN”?… Yeah. People are going to notice the contrast. 😂 And apparently they did on both sides of the political aisle.
