Why it worked

The video uses a relatable "gym crush" scenario and a humorous contrast between performing for a crush versus performing for oneself. The use of a discount code for the featured clothing brand also encourages engagement and potential purchases.

Summary

The video contrasts the creator's behavior in the gym when their crush is present versus when they are alone. When the crush is around, they perform assisted pull-ups with the crush's help, while alone, they perform hanging leg raises with more intensity.

Structure

1Creator alone, performing assisted pull-ups.
2Creator's gym crush appears.

Product placement

DFYNE: This is a clothing brand. The creator is wearing DFYNE clothing and promotes it with a discount code. It ACTS as the primary clothing brand being shown and promoted. Removing it would change the promotional aspect of the video. Oner Active: This is a clothing brand. It appears in the creator's bio. It merely APPEARS. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
