Nike Alphafly 4 unboxing 👟 These dropped on Thursday in limited quantities on Nike.com and I happened to have look in the afternoon and grab a size 13 - they sold out moments later. What’s changed from the v3: New ZoomX LT foam, 17% lighter than standard ZoomX with 8% more energy return, sitting both above and below the carbon Flyplate. A departure from previous Alphafly architecture rather than a minor tweak. The Air Zoom pods are now shaped using radio frequency and vibration instead of heat, making them 30% lighter and easier to compress underfoot. The Flyplate has a more dramatic rocker and a wider base for improved stability, which addresses the main criticism of the v3 for runners who found it unforgiving late in a race. 188g in a men’s size 8.5. 5% lighter than the v3, 10% more energy return.
