Burnout is often described in 5 stages: honeymoon → stress → chronic stress → burnout → habitual burnout By Stage 4, stress starts showing up very physically. Common symptoms 🔽 ——— Hi, I’m Sasha 👋 Together with a doctor, I built Anticipate, a chronic stress and burnout companion. Sync your sleep, activity and journal, and Anticipate will help you: • track your patterns • catch burnout early • build recovery into your days Search “Anticipate” on the App Store 🤍 ——— 1. You wake up exhausted even after sleeping. You can sleep 8–9 hours and still feel completely drained. 2. Your sleep falls apart. You’re exhausted all day, then wired at night, waking often or too early. 3. Headaches become normal. Tension headaches or migraines start appearing much more often. 4. Your heart races for no obvious reason. Palpitations can happen even while you’re sitting still. 5. Your stomach becomes unpredictable. Nausea, reflux, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation or loss of appetite. 6. You feel dizzy or unsteady. Sometimes it can even feel like you’re walking on uneven ground. 7. Your body constantly aches. Jaw, neck, shoulders and back stay tense even when you’re resting. 8. You feel short of breath or tight in your chest. You keep trying to take a satisfying deep breath but can’t quite get one. 9. You seem to get ill all the time. Small illnesses hit harder and take longer to recover from. 10. You start getting tremors or shaking. Your hands may shake, your body can feel jittery, or you may get internal trembling during or after stress. “IT’S ME. WHAT DO I DO?” Recognise that living like this isn’t healthy. Don’t try to push harder or do more. Do the opposite. Start making more space for sleep, self-care and recovery in your schedule. Prioritise it. Protect it ruthlessly. I’m creating Anticipate for exactly this. It connects your data and journal, shows you what keeps you stuck in stress, and helps you find realistic space to recover around the life you actually have.
