It is with heavy hearts that we at JustAdvocacy extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of Jayden Abrahams, Roselyn Koopman, and Adrien Rivaldo van Zyl (known to many as DJ Monk). On the morning of Thursday, 24 September 2026, these three friends were travelling on the N14 near Upington when their vehicle left the road and overturned. Two were declared dead at the scene. The third later succumbed to their injuries in hospital. Three other passengers survived and remain under medical care. In a moment, lives were cut short and a community was left shattered. Jayden Abrahams (36), Roselyn Koopman (33), and Adrien van Zyl (23) were more than names in a news report. They were sons, daughters, friends, and members of a close-knit circle whose absence will be felt for years to come. Their sudden loss reminds us how fragile life is and how quickly an ordinary journey can turn into irreversible tragedy. We stand with the grieving families during this unimaginable time. No words can fill the void left behind, but we offer our sincere prayers for strength, comfort, and peace. May the souls of Jayden, Roselyn, and Adrien rest in eternal peace.
