After days of fear, desperate searching, and prayers for his safe return, 13-year-old Kutlwano “Tshireletso” Maphosa has reportedly been found! ❤️🙏 Kutlwano, from Highveld Park in eMalahleni (Witbank), went missing on the morning of 29 September 2026, after being sent to buy a few items near Highveld Mall. His family feared the worst when the purchase he was supposed to make was never completed, raising concerns that he might not even have reached the mall. A R70,000 reward was offered as the desperate search for the young boy continued. According to the family’s latest statement, Kutlwano was found at OR Tambo by the Gauteng Crime Prevention Unit. The family further reported that he was in the company of an unknown woman who allegedly pretended to be his aunt before being forced to speak. At this stage, the family has confirmed that this is the only information they have received from law enforcement. Kutlwano is currently in hospital for further medical check-ups. Just imagine what his parents, Dr Naledi Moipony Maphosa and Dr Desmond Given Maphosa, have been going through since their son disappeared. Every unanswered call, every passing hour, and every moment without knowing where their child was must have felt unbearable. For a family, there is no fear quite like not knowing whether your child is safe. Today, we share in their relief and hope that Kutlwano is physically unharmed and will receive all the care and emotional support he needs following this frightening ordeal.
