An important update has been received regarding the Worcester siblings who went missing after travelling to Goodwood on 10 October 2026. Lesrien Amelia Filander has arrived home safely. She returned by taxi and is currently with her family in Worcester. According to the latest information, she is in a distressed state and does not want to speak at this time. The family has asked that they be given space and privacy as they support her and process what has happened. Her brother, Peter Filander (also known as Pieterkie), remains missing. Lesrien has indicated that she does not know his current whereabouts. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding their trip to Goodwood and Peter’s ongoing disappearance. The siblings had travelled from Avianpark, Worcester, for a reported work opportunity involving cellphone sales and were last associated with accommodation along Main Road in Goodwood. Peter has a serious medical condition that requires ongoing medication and medical attention. His family remains deeply concerned for his wellbeing while he is still unaccounted for. Their mother, Rachel Filander, and other relatives continue to appeal for any information that could help locate him. Anyone who may have seen Peter, or who has information about his whereabouts since 10 October, is urged to contact Worcester detectives immediately on 023 348 8605. Information can also be shared with the family on 063 947 5301. Even small details about sightings in Goodwood, Worcester, or along routes between the two areas could assist the investigation. The focus remains on bringing Peter home safely. Please share this updated appeal, particularly within communities in Worcester, Goodwood, and the wider Western Cape. At the same time, the family has requested that Lesrien and those supporting her be given the space they need right now. Police are continuing their enquiries. Any relevant information should be reported directly to the investigating officers rather than only shared on social media. #JustAdvocacy #MissingPersons #PeterFilander #Pieterkie #Worcester
