In the heart of Eldorado Park, a calculated act of violence has left an entire community demanding answers. A woman identified as Angelique Yaya Munnick allegedly requested an Uber, only for the ride to become a carefully staged ambush. According to reports and viral dashcam footage, she sat in the vehicle long enough for her alleged accomplices to approach, enter, and launch a robbery of the driver’s belongings. What makes this incident especially chilling is the dashcam evidence that reportedly captured the entire sequence, including the faces of those involved. As the driver managed to escape the vehicle and run for safety, one of the alleged robbers can be heard repeatedly instructing his accomplice: “Shoot him! Shoot him!” The footage shows the brazen nature of the attack, with suspects allegedly searching the car while the driver fled under fire. At this stage, his condition remains unknown, he may be seriously injured or, tragically, may not have survived. This is not just another crime statistic. E-hailing drivers across South Africa risk their lives daily to provide a service that keeps people moving. When a passenger uses a ride request as bait for armed robbery and attempted murder, it sends a terrifying message to every driver who accepts a trip. The faces in that dashcam footage are clear. The voices are clear. The evidence exists. What is missing is swift action to locate Angelique Yaya Munnick and her alleged accomplices before they strike again. JustAdvocacy is calling on the public to help. If you recognise Angelique Yaya Munnick or any of the men visible in the dashcam footage circulating on social media, do not approach them. Contact the police immediately. Eldorado Park SAPS can be reached on 011 946 0326 or 011 946 0327. You can also call Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Every tip matters. Justice only happens when ordinary people refuse to stay silent. The video reportedly shows one of the alleged robbers ordering the shooting in real time. That is not a moment we can scroll past. That is a moment that demands we act. Help police find Angelique Yaya Munnick and the men who allegedly robbed and shot an innocent driver in Eldorado Park. Share this. Speak up.
