the hardest part about healing an INJURY is how it affects you mentally last month and a half I've struggled the highest amount I've ever struggled in my entire life I accidentally tore something in my back while playing hockey and I was like oh my god I can't function properly and then I start obsessing with how do I get better? What's wrong with me? Am I actually injured for life? Your kinesthetic interpersonal who you are your whole identity is being challenged I couldn't be myself I couldn't dance, I couldn't work out, I couldn't do the things that made me feel relief when I was going through so much of my life The injury and the mental component is getting in the way of me functioning as the entrepreneur I want to function as I have to be okay doing nothing and being still and not panicking, going worst-case scenario The second thing that's most important is take care of your body I have to be okay with the minimum of stillness and have to be okay with the stillness of not moving 100 miles per hour and not having to do everything right now that to now is a signal that you're going to take a step back and you're going to learn how to deal with this side of your life, your emotional side your moment when things just not happening and be okay with that if you walked up on a stage with a cane limping and you had control of this, you'd still set them on fire That's your power. Your body is your vehicle, but it's not your only vehicle. You've got a great mind. I'm giving myself another month and I'm going to be back because I know that if I have this on track, it will help with the recovery and healing of this body. It's a climb. It's a climb, Jim. It's a climb. Yes. It's a climb that will make me be able to climb higher mountains going forward.
