If you have an in person interview, there are unspoken rules that you need to know in order to be successful. And you know what? I'm gonna break it down for you. The day before, you're gonna send a note confirming that the interview is in person and that they're ready for you. Nothing is worse than getting there and realising that it was on zoom. Arrive 10 minutes early, but only walk in the office five minutes before and they offer you a beverage. Take it and take water and use it as a prop throughout your interview. If you need to, like, gather your thoughts, you'll take a sip as the interview is going on. As the interview is going on, be conscious of the time so you know how to storytelling. Use the time effectively. And lastly, shake their hand and make eye contact right before you walk out the door. And send a thank you note within the 30 minutes after the interview.
