Do you remember when PlayStation was good? They've completely fallen off. This wasn't supposed to happen. 10 years ago, PlayStation effectively won the console war against Xbox with one video. This is how you share your games on PS4. They'd established themselves as the pro-consumer gaming console, just in time to make their biggest move yet. And now, seeing a new list of exclusive releases with can't-miss titles like God of War and Insomniac's Spider-Man, PlayStation seemed unstoppable. But then, disaster struck. After defeating Xbox, they started growing complacent, and eventually, their exclusive strategy got diluted with their exclusive titles showing up on other platforms. On top of the quality of those exclusives falling off a cliff, suddenly their entire edge in the gaming market was gone. And the truest sign of their fall off was when they betrayed their consumers with an update that locks you out of the games you paid for if you don't log in for 30 days. Now they've completely lost user trust, and once your users don't trust you, you have nothing left.
