Gen Z in interviews am I asking for too much?

Hi Gen Z, come here. Come here. I love you guys, but I need to be honest, but I need you to listen in because when it comes to interviews, there are some insane things I'm seeing and it's getting to the point where I have too many stories to tell for it to be like a one-off. It's becoming a bit of a trend. So I'm going to read off, I've written notes. I'm going to read off some of the insane stories and situations I've experienced in interviews so you know exactly what not to do. No one is telling these people what not to do in these interviews. The first thing, being late for an interview for whatever reason, don't like, act weird, not say anything. I had an interview the other day, someone was three minutes late for the interview. Clearly, I think she just woken up because she just woken up. She signed on and just said hi and we just started the interview. It sets the worst possible entry tone that you could set. So like, acknowledge it, give an excuse, my laptop was updating, anything just to apologize because no one likes wasting their time. That's number one. Nonchalant vibes. Second thing, stop trying to be nonchalant. And I know that era of being nonchalant, cut that out. I'm so sorry. You want a job, I want to hire you. Act like you want this thing. Act like you want to be here. You know, sometimes I interview people and I know it's a tough market, people are overstimulated, it's a lot, overwhelmed, I get it. But like, someone else is going to be acting actually be a better fit for the job because you didn't interview, and now they're not going to hire you. There are certain questions you're guaranteed asked in any interview, you always have an answer for. Why do you want this job? Why do you want to work for this company? Why did you pick that degree? Why did you leave this internship or this job, whatever. There are certain things to be asked. So many videos, I've made so many videos about, like, top 10 interview questions etc. I've made a free workbook for you guys (link in bio) about interview questions and how to answer them. So there's no excuse for you. You need to know how to answer certain things. Don't go on there looking bored, smile, show you're somewhat excited. If it's the only reason you want money, that's fine. Interviews are a performance. What to wear? No. 3. You want the place. Don't be sexy, don't be that office siren stuff, it's not real life. Ultimately, it's not real life. You will get certain jobs, you will get fired if you've got an internship, a return offer, it's not worth it. There's already so many stereotypes and like things they say about us Gen Z people. It sucks, but all you can do is prove them that you are not lazy, you don't ask dumb questions. Like there are so many things that people already think when they realize your age, realize your age, step away from those and just do what you need to do. If you want to work in certain certain jobs, you have to accept you're going to play the game. That's the reality. I want a bit passionate there, sorry about that.
