Oh my god, Ariana Grande. Ariana Grande just released a new fragrance, Cloud Aurora. We're about to open her up right now. A little clay ASMR. Love the box. This is the component. Oh, it's very cute. She's pearly, she's white. I love the little cloud topper. This cloud is so cute. Okay, this is supposed to be the more gourmand take on the Cloud DNA. Black currant, spun sugar, vanilla. Oh. Ariana Grande, whoa. So, I have a confession to make. I'm not a cotton candy person. I'm more of a cherry boy myself. So, I really thought this was going to be way too sweet for me. When you first spray it, you definitely get that spun sugar. I was like, yep, this is exactly what I expected. But then I just kept smelling my wrist and it started changing. I'm not going to be one of those people that's like, that's the sandalwood, the musk, because honestly, I couldn't pick those notes out if you paid me. I judge fragrance based on the way it makes me feel, and I'm very surprised by this. It goes from smelling like candy to feeling comfortable, I guess. Like the sweetness definitely settles down. Instead of smelling like you're standing in a candy store, it reminds me more of, I guess, like walking through the candy aisle in the fall, right? Warm, cozy, soft, instead of like loud and sugary. Is this going to replace my favorite cherry fragrance? No, but I do understand who this is for. If you like sweet fragrances but want something a little more, I guess, like grown up once it dries down, then I think Ariana Grande did an amazing job with this. One of the biggest surprises is the price point. Now, it's $75. $75 is a lot of money, but it's not as much as some other fragrances. I remember trying, I think it's Burberry Her Elixir, and this is not a dupe for that by any means, but it's giving me like a similar like cozy, creamy, sweet vibe. It's warm, comforting, gourmand, and if you like that profile, then I think you're really going to love this. So, color me surprised. This is certainly going to be, I think, like a fall scent for me. And I wonder how these pair together. Bitch.
