Melbourne I know you're obsessed with hidden laneway cafes. So here's another one. I'll let you know where it is later. Atelier Enso, a new coffee spot just opened in a warehouse space with a beautiful aesthetic Japanese inspired interior. Named after the Zen symbol. The idea is to slow down, enjoy your coffee. By the same team behind Galere Coffee. What sets them apart is the coffee tech: Eversys, Linkbar and Xbloom advanced coffee machines designed to mimic a human barista with more consistency. I was skeptical at first, but I tried it. The MUJO blend on Linkbar made the smoothest long black I've ever had. The house blend Jiku on Eversys is also very impressive. You can actually taste the difference. Not like those coffee machines in the office. If you prefer human made, that's still an option. Aside coffee, their super fluffy Swiss roll cakes is a must. Black Forest Swiss roll is one of my favourites. Find them at Raffa Pl, behind the Shell station. Carlton.
