You finally found a broker on Wall Street that you can trust, and who can consistently make you money. Sounds fair enough? Yeah. You. I got to say, I'm pretty impressed. I don't know. What do you think, Kevin? You give me one shot here on a blue chip stock like Kodak, and believe me, Kevin, the only problem you're gonna have is that you didn't buy more. My wife might divorce me, but... Yeah, let's do it. Excellent choice, Kevin. How much do you want to go for this time? Let's do five. $5,000. Can we try 8,000, Kevin? All right. Let's do 10. Ten. You want to do that? Excellent choice! Kevin, let me lock in that trade right now and get back to you in a few minutes with an exact confirmation, Kevin. And welcome to Stratton Oakmont. Thanks, man. I'm gonna have a beer. The Wolf of Wall Street, you'll notice a few sneaky things are break. Let me break down the sales psychology for you. One, he says you finally found a broker you can trust, and Kevin, that's gonna make you money. Kevin kind of has to agree with this, because it's an identity implant. If he says no, I didn't, then he kind of labels himself as dumb. Next, believe me, Kevin, believe me when he says that it's actually a subtle NLP subconscious command. It's very sneaky because it implants psychological belief. He's next, he says, the only regret you're gonna have is that you didn't buy more. Now, this does two things. One, it's assuming the sale, it's future pacing, assuming that he's already said yes. And it's triggering a little bit of loss aversion here because humans hate nothing more than losing something. And lastly, saying, sounds fair enough. What he's doing there is actually making it difficult for Kevin to disagree because he's not giving a simple binary choice. He's asking him to make a fairness assessment, which is very difficult for our brain. It takes a lot of energy. So usually the brain just can't be bothered with this. Yes, sounds fair enough. So lots of sneaky little sales psychology happening there. Now that you understand it, you know what not to do with your prospects. And by the way, all of these sales techniques can be used for good as well. And if that's you, then follow my page and I'm gonna teach you how.
