Today I am making a banana cocoa black bean bowl. So I'm gonna take these ripe bananas from yesterday and I'm just gonna put them in with the black beans. The black beans are rinsed and drained and I put a quarter cup of water in there. We're gonna mash all of this up together. It's much easier to mash once it gets cooking a bit, but in addition to the banana and the black beans, we're gonna add one tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder. And in this you can actually do maple syrup or chopped dates. I didn't chop my dates, so I'm gonna get the maple syrup and add that now. My favorite part is the maple syrup. I'll probably add more than you guys might want to because I do like my stuff sweet. So I do add a bit more maple syrup. All right, my favorite part is the maple syrup. I'm gonna add a bit more maple syrup. All right. I'll come back and let you see what it looks like. All right, here's what it looks like. It smells so good. And black beans are a little bit harder to mash, so I actually use a potato masher for these. But like I said, some people do use an immersion blender. If you don't want the beans still in there, you can go ahead and use an immersion blender. But this smells delicious. I'm telling you, it smells like a cake batter or something like that. Let's taste it. Mmm. Mmm. Try it. Oh, so good. Try it. So good. Talk to you soon.
