I learned this from a pastry chef who was born in Italy and was doing an exchange in Canada while visiting America. The point is, this is not your average sausage and peppers. Now, the vessel for this is a parmesan crusted puff pastry. This is going to be the bun, hoagie roll, or the Italian bread, except puff pastry. I placed it in the parmesan crusted tray, added some marinara, added some mozzarella cheese, unwrapped the spicy Italian sausage casing, and snuggled it into that puff pastry and baked it for about 25 minutes. You can't have sausage and peppers without peppers, am I right? Added that on top, and this is to use as a bun. Other type like this I should make. Nailed it!
