GELATO + HOMEMADE PIZZA = Italian Summer wherever you are🍦☀️ @Sammontana my is my gelato of choice ALWAYS. authentic, made in italy since 1948, AND i can find it in my local Jewel Osco🤭 pizza dough recipe is below. send this to the friend you want to have an Italian summer picnic with!! DOUGH: 600g bread flour 2g yeast 385g water 12g salt Add flour, yeast and water to a bowl and mix till combined. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes to hydrate. Add the salt and continue kneading by hand or in a mixer till very elastic and smooth. Transfer to an oiled container and cover. Refrigerate for 24 hours to 3 days (the longer you wait the better the flavor!). Remove from the fridge 3 hours before baking. Cut and shape into 4 boules. Let rest, covered, for 30 min to an hour. Preheat your baking stone/steel in a 550F oven for minimum 45 minutes. Carefully degas your dough and stretch with your hands to your desired width.
