Part 2 because apparently there are WAY more things to do when you move into a new house than anyone actually tells you 😂🏡 After sharing my first things to do when you first move into a new house post, the comments were an absolute goldmine — and some of these genuinely would never have occurred to me as a first-time buyer. From setting up a separate house email address for all your bills, warranties, utilities and paperwork, to checking the temperature control under the bath and, VERY importantly according to you lot, changing the toilet seats immediately 😂🚽 Buying a house in the UK is overwhelming enough before you even get the keys. Then suddenly you’re responsible for utilities, council tax, home insurance, warranties, appliances, maintenance, decorating, snagging and approximately 847 other tiny jobs nobody mentioned during the house-buying process.
