let's talk about pretty privilege in college...

If you think pretty privilege is gonna save you in college, you're in for a rude awakening. Here's something that humbled me in my first year. As someone who's really reaped the benefits of pretty privilege my whole life, going into college and seeing how many beautiful girls are, like, dude, Western has really hot girls. It kind of makes you just arrogant. Instead of being a big fish in a small pond like you were in high school, you're literally a small fish in a huge pond. The pond is also filled with people that are as hot as you or hotter. And it can really make you insecure. I feel like I was fine because I have like almost a narcissism complex about me. Like I'm a very confident person. But I know some of my friends were kind of struggling with this because after reaping the benefits of pretty privilege for so long, and you kind of expect to look, you know, like you're not gonna be able to carry you. But at this point, if you're not a nice person, you don't have personality, you don't have skills, no one's gonna want to talk to you just because you're pretty. You're not gonna pull every single guy in the world just because you're pretty. It could be really humbling for some. And what's gonna ultimately set you apart now is your personality and your contributions to society. And if you have none, good luck to you. Or if you're really insecure and you don't have confidence, good luck to you. And that sounds kind of mean, but this is tough love. Definitely remove yourself from that I'm pretty, I can do whatever I want mentality. Because it's not gonna work for you anymore. You actually gotta work towards what you want. And the thing that's gonna set you apart is your confidence. People are now gonna see you as just pretty, or do they actually know her worth? Instead of only relying on her looks. Okay.
