I Destroyed My Customer's iPhone on Purpose

My customer brought me his iPhone for one of the smallest repairs possible. So I decided to completely destroy the back of it. Yeah, I know how bad that sounds. He originally came in because there was a tiny crack near the camera. The phone still worked perfectly, the cameras were fine. I could have just fixed the damaged area. But instead, I grabbed my tool and started cracking the glass even more. And this is exactly the moment where most customers would probably call the police. But there was actually a reason for it. When the back glass is already damaged and needs to be fully replaced, sometimes you have to remove the broken glass piece by piece. Instead of replacing some glass, you've just turned this into a very expensive repair. So I carefully removed every broken piece, cleaned all the old adhesive from the frame, and prepared the phone for its new back glass. Then came the most satisfying part. New glass goes on, everything gets pressed into position. Cameras get cleaned and somehow the iPhone I was literally destroying a few minutes ago now looks almost brand new.
