One year later…and I freaking did that. 🥹💪🏼 Not because I was perfect for 365 days. Not because I followed some extreme plan. And definitely not because I was motivated every single day. I changed because I finally committed to doing the simple things consistently long enough to let them work. Here’s what that looked like for me this past year: •Strength training 3–5x/week with dumbbells at home •Following a plan instead of piecing together random workouts •Focusing on progressive overload , adding weight, reps or control over time •Getting my steps in and moving my body every day •Prioritizing protein at my meals •Eating mostly whole, nourishing foods without making anything completely off limits •Making sleep and recovery a priority when I could •And most importantly… getting right back to it when life threw me off That last one matters. You do not need 365 perfect days to look back a year from now and be proud of how far you’ve come. You need a handful of habits you can actually repeat. Start with 3 strength workouts this week. Take the walks. Add protein to your meals. Go to bed a little earlier. Stop waiting for Monday when you miss a day. Then keep going. A year is going to pass either way. Give yourself the chance to see what happens when you stop starting over and start staying consistent. 🤝 #postpartumjourney #postpartum #workoutmotivation #workouttips
