Stuff your CEO won't say that I will. If your company is always understaffed, it's not your emergency. Somewhere along the way, companies convinced everybody that when you're understaffed, you're the one who needs to work late, who needs to pick up shifts, who needs to push up people's work and slack. I'm sorry. That is not the employee problem. That is the company's problem. Because there's a difference between being understaffed temporarily and being understaffed as a part of your general business model, which a lot of companies that I see are constantly understaffed. That is a company level, ownership level, CEO level problem. And if you're leading, I'm gonna speak to a very specific crowd right now. So for me, I wanna run a biblical business. When you run a business from a biblical worldview, you are the chief steward. It's not over your business. It's God's. Which means you're responsible. It's your emergency. That doesn't mean you just keep making people work longer shifts. No, you need to solve the problem, not play whack-a-mole. You need to solve it in perpetuity, which means you need to actually hire more people.
