Tsontso is missing. Elizabeth Mokolo Moselakgomo, known to many as Tsontso, is a 38-year-old mother and fitness enthusiast from Kempton Park. On Wednesday afternoon she left her home for a routine run, leaving her eight-year-old daughter behind. She never returned. She was last seen between 17:30 and 18:30 on Mustang Street in Rhodesfield. When she failed to come home that evening, her young daughter contacted family members, who reported her disappearance. Police have intensified the search, checked hospitals and mortuaries, and appealed for public help, yet there is still no confirmed trace of her. Shortly after her disappearance became public, the South African Police Service issued a stark warning to women in and around Kempton Park, particularly the Rhodesfield area: exercise extreme caution. Over approximately two months, four female bodies have been found in the same vicinity under similar circumstances, half-naked and showing visible bruising. While SAPS has not confirmed a serial killer link, the pattern is concerning enough for a dedicated multidisciplinary task team to be established. Women have been urged not to walk or run alone, especially in isolated areas, to avoid secluded spaces, stay vigilant, and exercise in groups where possible. The question on many minds is unavoidable: Is there a serial killer on the loose? That investigation continues. But more urgently, and more personally for one family, where is Tsontso? A battered body was discovered over the weekend. The family could not make a visual identification due to the condition of the remains and is awaiting formal identification. Until then, and regardless of that outcome, the priority remains finding answers for Tsontso and bringing her home safely to her daughter and loved ones. This is not just another missing-person case. It is a mother who went for a run and vanished in an area now under active police warning. Communities in Kempton Park and beyond must stay alert, share verified information, and support the search. If you saw Tsontso on Wednesday afternoon or evening, if you have any information about her whereabouts, or if you noticed anything unusual in the Rhodesfield area, contact the investigating officer immediately. Contact: Warrant Officer Elvis Manyike on 082 465 7249. Share her description and appeal widely. Demand thorough, transparent investigation into both her disappearance and the recent deaths of women in the same area. Safety for women who simply want to exercise outdoors should never be optional. Tsontso’s daughter is waiting. The community is waiting. South Africa is watching. Where is Tsontso? #FindTsontso #MissingPersonSA #KemptonPark #SAPSWarning #WomenSafety
