Your first 5K doesn’t need to start fast to finish strong! 🏃♀️💨 One of the easiest mistakes to make is getting caught up in the excitement and going way too hard in that first mile. Hold yourself back a little. If mile 1 feels almost too comfortable, that’s okay. Once you hit mile 2, settle into your rhythm and keep your effort controlled. This is where you want to stay patient instead of randomly picking up the pace because you’re feeling good. Then comes mile 3. Now you can start turning it up. Gradually increase your effort, keep moving forward, and when you get to that final stretch, use whatever you have left. Don’t worry about matching someone else’s pace. Your first 5K is about learning what YOUR pace feels like and getting across that finish line knowing you ran smart. 🏃♀️🏃💙 Save this for race day. 💪🏁 #5KTraining #RunningTips #BeginnerRunner #Running #Runners
