9 signs of burnout I pushed through, and ended up in A&E with a bad panic attack. May this be your sign to take care of you! Finish your day early, would you? 🤍 Signs 🔽 1. I’d wake up tired before the day had even started. 2. I started getting headaches almost every day. 3. My heart would suddenly race while I was just sitting at my desk. 4. I’d stand up and feel dizzy, shaky or like the floor wasn’t quite steady. 5. I kept taking deep breaths because I never felt like I could get enough air. 6. I’d skip meals because stress made me feel nauseous. 7. Tiny things started making me irrationally angry. 8. I stopped seeing people because I had nothing left after work. 9.My anxiety got worse, and panic attacks started happening more often. I knew I wasn’t okay, but I kept telling myself I could push through one more week. I pushed myself rrrrright into a panic attack at an important client meeting. Don’t be like me. 🙂 "BUT I CAN'T STOP! WHAT DO I DO?" When you live under too much stress for too long, slowing down makes you feel like a failure. Like a loser. Like you’re falling behind. Like you’ll achieve nothing with your life. Become nobody. But that’s a lie your stress-wired brain tells you. I’m working hard together with a doctor to change that. We’re building Anticipate to help — it connects your data and journal, shows you what keeps you stuck in stress, and helps you find realistic space to recover around the life you actually have. It helps you normalise rest and recovery, and slowly feel alive again. Search “Anticipate” on the App Store. 🤍 #burnout #burnoutprevention #mentalhealthmatters #MentalHealth #takecareofyou
