Why it worked

The video leverages a common relatable problem (products melting in heat) with a popular brand to create a cautionary tale that resonates with viewers.

Summary

The video shows a Summer Fridays lip balm melting and leaking out of its tube due to being left in a hot car. The creator warns viewers not to leave their Summer Fridays products in the car.

Structure

1Showing the Summer Fridays lip balm
2The lip balm is shown to be melted and leaking
3The creator warns viewers not to leave it in the car

Product placement

Summer Fridays (lip balm): ACTS - it melts and leaks out of its tube due to heat, changing what happens in the video. Removing it would change what happens in the video.
