He's Falling Into The Trap

This kid is in a predictable five stage cycle of internet fame that happens every single time. So let's go through the five stages. Stage one, you have the spark. This is the unintentional moment of virality. Think of the hawk tua chick who just said some dumb shit while she was drunk and she went super viral. Now think of the last time you heard from her. Then we move on to step two, which is the explosion. The internet takes that tiny spark and just turns it into a wildfire. The person who made that video turns into a meme. South Park just made the six seven meme into an entire episode. Then comes stage three, the monetization attempt. And this is exactly where the six seven kid's at right now. And this is normally the turning point where everything goes to shit. Again, let's go back to the hawk tua girl. She launched a crypto coin. That went horribly. Then we have the backpack kid and the catch me outside girl who both tried to launch serious music careers. The people get all of this attention and think that it's all on them, but it's really just on the joke. So they try to turn the joke into an actual business. And this is exactly what's happening to the six seven kid right now. He just launched a crypto coin. That's not going to end well. Then we move on to stage four, the identity crisis. Because the audience just completely rejects whatever this person is doing. They don't care about you. They don't want crypto, they don't want music, they just want memes and they will never buy anything from you. Which finally leads us to step five, which is the fade or the pivot. Most of these people fade and become like a where are they now trivia question and maybe like 1% actually turn it into something successful. And the problem is to escape the trap, you as a person have to be more interesting than the meme that they turned you into. And for a kid whose entire identity is a meme before he's even old enough to drive, the odds aren't very good. Now, of course, I don't wish failure on anybody, but we have seen this playbook hundreds of times before. And I'm sure there's many other examples that I missed, so just drop them below.
