Here is how to add a drop shadow to your paintings in Procreate! This is an easy way to add a lot of depth to your Procreate art. 😍 #procreatetutorials #artprocess #digitalpainting #procreate tips #procreateapp First, you're going to want to head over to your layers panel and I'm just going to duplicate my painting layer. This layer is separate from my background. Now I'm just going to select the bottom one that I duplicated. Now I'm going to tap on that layer and hit Alpha Lock. Now I'm going to click on the colors panel and I'm just going to make sure that a black is selected. Then I go back to the layers panel and on the same layer I hit Fill Layer. And this is going to fill your object completely black. The reason I have white areas is just because I erased in my original painting so that it looks more like watercolor. Once that's all done, then you are going to turn alpha lock off of that layer and then go up to the magic wand tool and hit Gaussian Blur. And then you just slide over to blur and I just went to about like 20-ish percent. And then I just turn that object layer back on. And then I'm going to grab my selection tool and I just offset it a little bit. And then I just click on my shadow layer again and that will bring up opacity. And I just turn the opacity down a little bit. And because I erased the original painting layer underneath so that all of my highlights shine. And I just turn my sketch back on and I just erase everywhere where the sketch is and where that white area is. And here is the final result! Okay, thanks bye!
