Figma is screwed. If you're a designer that hasn't played around with Claude Code or some other AI coding tool, maybe I can change your mind. There are a lot of issues with our current workflow as engineers and designers. Designers design in Figma and engineers are responsible for taking those designs and copying everything over into code. We are constantly faced with keeping everything in sync. Designers can never be sure that the design system that they have in Figma matches up with the variants that are in the code. Let me give you one more problem. I had a founder tell me recently that he needed his designer to make 20 variants of an animated UI flow for their landing page. The founder, feeling a sense of urgency, took the early versions from the designer, plugged it all into Claude Code and had it generate 20 more variants. He was able to tweak them as he saw fit, totally unblocked by design. And if the product ends up changing a little bit, he will never be blocked on design to update those assets for the landing page. That's crazy. So designers, imagine a world where the code becomes the source of truth. It becomes so easy to iterate on, just as easy as moving pixels around in Figma. The design systems live in the code, one source of truth. You want to make 10 different versions of a design, it's as simple as prompting.
