It's been 1 year since I left Corporate America. A lot has changed ->
One year ago I walked away from an 11-year career in finance. I knew I had to do it but had no idea what was on the other side...
I lost 20 pounds (naturally). Finally had the time and mental space to show up for myself.
We bought another house and moved for the sixth time! I've slowly been turning it into my favorite place we've lived.
My nervous system regulated. The constant rush of school drop-offs, commuting, back-to-back meetings, repeating... It was stealing the joy from everyday moments. Now I actually enjoy them.
I'm present with my kids. School events, swim practice, jiu jitsu class. I'm there. I never getting this time back and I know it.
I found myself again. No more black suits. My creative energy came back and I didn't realize how much I missed her.
I strengthened my faith. When I finally slowed down, I found clarity. And in the quiet, I found God.
A lot has changed, in the best possible way. And this is just the beginning. Thank you for being here ",
