YouTube is the future of social media in 2026. Gary Vee just said it's his number one priority. And I just happened to have hit 100k on YouTube recently. I'm going to break down everything I know about YouTube in 2026 specifically. Okay, first, I had to stop treating YouTube like it's 2016. The algorithm of YouTube is based on click-through rate, not search. And back in the day, you would want to like keyword stuff your titles. That's just like not how it works anymore. And the best way to get clicks on YouTube is to not gatekeep the value of your video in the title. Here's what I mean. Instead of saying like, this is the secret to YouTube, or instead of saying, this is how I got my dream body, say what you actually did in the title. The titles, you should be able to have some sort of takeaway from the title and thumbnail. You absolutely can grow from vlogs in 2026, but you have to have a theme attached to the vlog. Week in my life, day in my life is just a format. It's an execution of something else. For example, a week of trying to save $10,000 in 2026, is a 9-to-5 girly. Do you know what I mean? There's a theme. And you talk about that theme throughout the vlog. It's still a week in your life, but there's like something attached to it, you know? When you click on the video, you the first thing people see needs to in some way repeat or address the title and thumbnail. Time you post and the day you post does not affect the algorithm. That's old. If you post at 2:00 in the morning or 2:00 p.m. every different day every week, it doesn't matter. Speaking of SEO, back to that, there should be some sort of keyword in your title because in July, YouTube got rid of their trending page because they said they know social media right now is very interest media, topic media. Use timestamps. Timestamps come up in SEO. If you don't have timestamps, you're losing retention because people are going to look through and see what you talk about, so that's bad. Also, they come up in SEO. So if one of your timestamps is like, let's say in your vlog, you talk for three minutes about how you grew on TikTok, make the timestamp, how I grew on TikTok in 2026, that will come up when someone types that in. You know, I could go on and on. I have a whole playlist on my YouTube about this. I also just had Alexis Barber who worked at YouTube on the podcast this week. Let me know if you want a part two or have any specific questions. We could we could keep going.
