So the new iOS 26.4 update faces the notorious iPhone keyboard issues that so many people have been having, but you do have to enable a specific setting first in order to get the full benefit. Basically, the reason the keyboard has been so awful to type with lately has to do with a bug that causes missed inputs when you're typing quickly. But iOS 26.4 finally fixes that bug. The issue that still remains, however, is that your phone has been slowly learning your typing style the whole time that the bug was there. So any of the typos that you've been making are still saved in your phone's keyboard dictionary. To fix this, go to your settings, choose General, then Transfer or Reset iPhone, Reset, and then choose the Reset Keyboard Dictionary option. This will wipe out any of the typo issues that you've had stored in the background and give you a clean slate to work with on the new and improved typing in this update.
