My payday salary is $184,000 and it's payday so here's how I budget my paycheck. I'm a high earner, 37 year old based in Houston, Texas. I get paid twice a month, so today's gross pay was $7,663. Before for anything happens, I send $141.67 to my HSA and $919.50 to my 401k pre-tax. I know the most impressive thing about this video is not my salary, but that I only pay $58 for my insurance. It's just me and I'm on a high deductible plan. After $1,638 is what held for taxes. I'm left with the net pay of $4,905.37. First thing I do is cover my necessities. My mortgage is doing the first half of my mortgage, $1,600. Next, I set aside $179 for half of my utilities, which are doing June, electric, water, cell phone and internet. I have a goal to invest $100,000 this year. I've already invested about $80k, so with only about $20 left, I transfer $1,250 to my brokerage account. I purchased $250 in Bitcoin. I transfer $885 to my sinking funds for annual expenses like taxes, HOA and any fun personal spending. This leaves just under $750 for my groceries and any miscellaneous.
