My biggest regret with tech sales is I went to university and studied business very generic. Left had no clue what I wanted to do. thought I wanted to them be in the creative space, as my whole family is in the creative space, realized that, you know, I wanted more stability. Um, learned a lot from being in the creative space, but I knew that for my goals, this just wasn't kind of it for now. And then now I'm, you know, in a position where I'm making more money than a lot of people in my age. I'm learning so much about business and life and people and again in a position that gives me so much financial opportunity and I think with tech sales it doesn't ask for much when you think about credentials or degrees or certificates. It just says if you are driven and you're a go getter then this is the position that can reward you. And I think a lot of people resonate with not knowing what you want to do coming out of college or university and having no clue what direction you want to go into not wanting to piss in your whole yourself. sales is a skill that is going to help you pretty much in any avenue that you go into and so you will never regret I think going into a a sales job you know uh particularly a tech sales job whether you are in it for six months whether you are in it for 10 years but yeah my biggest regret with tech sales is honestly just not starting it sooner. Um it is a bit clicky but genuinely that's what it is. I didn't even know what it was you know a few years ago and so I think the message for like anyone that is coming out of university or college and doesn't know what they want to do. Try to excel. Whether you stay in it for six months or five years, it's still taught you. It will teach you such valuable life lessons and skills, one of them being sales, but it also teach you so much so much more and I think it's always there to kind of open on. Obviously the market is not great right now, but if you have any questions or you want any tips or suggestions, comment below or reach out.
